  2. Down in Count ANYTHING WITH 2 Strikes (Drive the Ball other way) anticipating off-speed.



Thursday - April 26, 2012 - Workout with Mario Garza of Tampa Yankees

We meet Mario today @ Space Coast Stadium. Sway did a 30 min workout with him.

Went back over to Zacks and worked on more speed work tonight.  BIG DAY of work for him!  He is starting to see big gains in speed and strength and it is motivating him to work harder.  He beat what used to be the fastest kid in his grade in a race today.  Think that really showed him that his hard work is paying off.

We played very well today.  We won the first 2 games and lost to the Redhawks 10U in the final of the beach bash.  Sway played very well behind the plate and hit well today too.  I was really proud of all the boys today.  They came back and run ruled a good cobras team who beat us 18-2 yesterday!  Way to go Hawks!

Played in Beach Bash.  We lost to Cobras and Thunder.  We saw quality pitching today.  Sway did not have the best day at the plate.

We took 3rd place in the Tourney.  Sway had a good day at the plate and also catching.  He almost hit his first home run on a 205' field today.  I think he hit about 650 for the tourney.

Sway was 5 for 7 with 2 Doubles and 6RBI.  He did very well at the plate and behind the plate. One win and one loss.
