Big week of preparation for Daytona Tournament

Overload / Underload Swings
20 Swings weighted bat (Wood 23 oz)
10 Swings quick stick (very light bat)

One Arm Isolation Drills
Front Arm x 20
Back Arm x 20
Both Arms x 20 (Very Close to Tee with Light short Bat and wiffle balls)
Tee Work
Contact Position x 15
Power Position x 10
Middle x 40 Balls
Away x 20 Balls
In Middle x 10
High Tee (CHEST HIGH) x 10 Balls
Low Tee (Knee High) x 10
Low Away (Knee High) x 10
Low In (Knee High) x 10

Front Flips (Short Distance 10')
Away x 30 Balls
Middle Away x 20 Balls
Middle x 20
In x 20 Balls

Front Flips (Longer Distance 30')

Hit them where they are pitched x 60
Working Inside Middle Away - He has to identify where they are and hit them to the right location

Front Flips w/ SOFTBALL Dimple Balls
25 Front Flips with Softball Dimple Balls.  We are starting to do these due to the Density and weight of the balls.  It forces him to really get through the ball.  The balls are at least 2 times heavier and much more dense then regular baseballs.

Hand Position Contact Drills on Heavy Bag
30 Swings from Power Position to Contact

Pushups x 20.  Sway did this tonight at 945 right before Bed. I was proud of him for doing these after all the work he did today!  He still continues to amaze me at how hard he works.  I am inspired by his work ethic!
