60 Balls (Hit them where they are pitched) - Working on picking up location early and driving them to appropriate field. - Distance 25'
25 Balls - Middle & Inside Pulls

BP
60 Balls BP.

NOTE:  This was the best round of BP, Flips, & Tee work I have ever seen him do to date.  He hit the ball with such authority and was staying inside of everything.  I was trying to work middle to middle away in the zone and he was consitently driving the ball hard the other way on low line drives.    When I would challenge him inside he was turning on those pitches, but still keeping his hands inside and not getting long.  There were very few mistakes in BP.  Good Plate discipline to not chasing balls out of the zone!  All the Hard work is really starting to show.  Very proud of him...

Note - Blocking is something that Sway is very good at in practice, but he is not taking it into games.  After CV talking with him it is due to him being a little scared to do it during games.  This is completely natural for an 8 year old and we are both working on making him more confident to trust his equipment.  It will come especially with the amout of work he puts into it.  Receiving, footwork, and arm are very advanced for his age.  Blocking is our next challenge!
